No. Emerald/RadiusNT handle that for you. There is also an option for Ascend users to include the Ascend-Maximum-Time attribute as well (it will be the same as the Session-Timeout attribute).

If you include a Session-Limit in either the Service Type Default or Service Specific, RadiusNT will set Session-Timeout to the lesser of the Calculated TimeLeft Field, Max Time Field (server Access/if applicable), or the Session-Timeout Attribute specified.
