[RadiusNT] RadiusNT and the trim names feature

We just recently bought RadiusNT Enterprise and are having trouble with the
trim names feature. We are set up so dialup's are done at an external site
and they forward the proxy requests to us wth the username@domain. When a
user trys to authenticate it does not seem to be trimming the @domain field
and therefore fails to authenticate. If I enter my billing software, which
is Platypus, and change the username to user@domain, it will then allow the
user in.

Reading some articles on the mailing list archive, I am getting the
impression that the trim name feature only trims spaces and prefixes in the
form of Domain\. Is this true? If so do we see any time in the future
where suffixes will be trimmed as well? It seems pretty common these days
that a suffix is used and feel this is a necessary feature.

Maybe I am doing something wrong though. I also do not have any of the
proxy checkboxes setup in RadiusNT. Are these needed? I seem to be able to
authenticate without them.
