Forget that your getting that http error for now. You will get that if IIS's
default directory or page is not set correctly. This I know and probably
happened last night while I was telling him to try some stuff over the
phone. Imagine your browser saying it found the site but then just sitting
there until timeout with no error. That's what it had been doing prior to
today. Everything I've see so far today is all stuff I've checked.(and will
check again tonight) Any other thoughts are appreciated.

I just tried hitting it. I'm getting a '400' error using just
http://www.tgic.net, and I'm getting a '404' error when I use
http://www.tgic.net/default.htm.

This is good, to a point. The net knows you're out there, how to get to
you, and what to look for when it gets there. That eliminates most DNS
problems, and also eliminates the gateway issue.

That puts us back to IIS. Verify that you do have default.htm and that it's
pointing to the correct 'home' subdirectory. Also, verify you are allowing
anonymous access to the web server.

If that doesn't do the trick, let me know...I'll see if I can find another
rabbit to pull out of my hat.
