The easiest way to do it is change the ExpireDate on the Account when
you are signing up the customer to be the end of the free period. The
Emerald will pickup the billing after that. You can set the Default
Expire to something like 30 in the Config Client to make this happen
automatically for all new accounts.

The start date isn't used currently in Emerald.
