The now current setup is that both servers do authentication duty and the
primary (the one that has the processor spike problem) is doing all the
accounting duty. The processor usage on the primary has really leveled
out. It's not unreasonable to have a server with the specs mentioned
previously doing authentication for 400 lines, is it? I'm curious as to
what others are using for their setups.
Any other thoughts as to where to look?

Its on our FTP site:

Unforunately, its only available for the Intel platform. I am working on
getting a new compile for the Alpha.
