Typically, I would recommend keeping an up-to-date users file from your
Emerlad database. There is a command line utility you can cron to do
this or use the Emerlad client to create it.

Yes, this has been in there since 2.2:

DEFAULT Password = "ANY"
User-Service = Framed-Protocol

The ANY password works in any user profile, ODBC or text.
