Lately we seem to be getting a lot of lost carriers (according to the =
detail file and the calls table) but we have only had a couple of =
complaints. This is happening across all the ports and on different =
modem types.

Are the lost carriers a true representation of the telephone company's =
line signal quality or is the portmaster that sensitive to signal =
fluctuation ??

Is there anything we can do ... other than the obvious .. call the =
telephone company which we already have ...

Thanks in advance folks ...
Doris
