It's been awhile since I posted the message down below, but I wanted to
make it clear that:

The problem I was having was not with Emerald. It was my credit card
processing software. The ICVerify EZCharge software package I have doesn't
accept credit card expiration dates in the format MMYY if the year is 2000.
I have to enter the expiration dates for these cards as YYMM!

Emerald is batching out the cards correctly.
