I know what you mean Ric, that setting always wants to slip back to a Class
A ... but we *do* have it set to a Class C and the static IP address for
that machine, and it *is* sticking (i.e. reopen MacTCP and it's still there).

We're going to return today with the president of our local Mac users
group, armed with newer software than MacTCP (Mac TCP/IP and Open
Transport) and explore further.
