I had a lot of problems with MCIS news...it is a resource hog, as you have
seen, and it isn't efficient even with the resources that it does use. For
the price, which is high, I wouldn't recomend it. Right now I am running a
trial version of News Channel...I am happy with it...my users are no longer
complaining about the lack of volume in their subscribed groups and they
aren't having problems receiving the large lists of groups. I am fairly
happy with this and am seriously contemplating purchase unless someone has
a better recomendation. :)

I believe news channel can be found at: http://www.metainfo.com
