PERL Scripting and NT 4.0

Has anyone written any PERL scripts on an NT 4.0 server? I'm looking
for some insight on how to make a call from PERL that will utilize the
NT 4.0 SNMP utility to gather data from specific requests. I can make
calls from the SNMP utility command (snmputil.exe) from within NT and
view the results on screen. I'm just not sure how to make the call
(from within the PERL script) to an external NT command and store the
info back into the script for further processing. Anyone have an
example of something similar?
