HELP SQL Error!!!

We just upgraded our server and I am trying to convert from the text
authentication to odbc. When I execute radius -x15, everything comes up
fine until it tries to authenticate and it tells me the SQL Server is busy
with another hsmft or something like that. It then rejects anyone trying to
log in. Can anyone tell me what this might be.
