I'll take a stab in the dark. I once had a similar problem with a
portmaster with accounting. The accounting server wasn't set up correctly
in the Portmaster and after about 100 logins, the Portmaster would start to
choke. Reboot it and it worked fine for another 100 logins. Ends up the
portmaster was pointed to the right authentication server but the wrong
accounting server. Maybe this is related to your problem. Worth a shot to
check to see if the cisco accounting is set correctly.
