We do load balancing using catalyst 6500 series switches running in cosmos
mode with IOS SLB. Unfortuantely, I'm not a LAN guy, so I can't be much
more help than that. I just keep the RADIUS & all of it's Databases in
working order, they make the LAN work :>

Ed,
"Cisco routers"; i.e., you're using 7x00 series load balancing code in IOS
12.x?

Could you give a few more details about the topology, etc, we're trying to
track why the RadiusNT boxes dont handle accounting data correctly when in a
"DSR" type of topology.

Thanks and happy holidays!

We're doing it. 4 servers load balanced, Cisco routers, it works awesome.

Hi, I've got 2 RadiusNT licenses and I'd like to place two servers in a
configuration behind/along with some form of Load balancing switch (I have
Foundry SI and Alteon 180e boxes available to me).
I've tried using the Foundry SI with "DSR" topology, but although
Authorization and Authentication worked, Accounting did not (nothing ever
got written to the "Calls" table). Removing the layer4 setup fixed this
problem.
