Wow, thanks for all of the assistance, everyone. About 3 seconds after I
sent my message, a coworker popped the plastic front panel off. Afterward,
I realized that it seems that most of the guts of the Max are attached to
the black case. I haven't actually dismantled the Max yet, so I'll know
more later on. I'm still waiting for users to drop off (I have all
slots/channels disabled right now) before I shut it down and open it up.

Matt: Where did you get the fans? Is there anything special about them? I
know nothing about the fans (yet).
