[NTISP] Can't crack 3com Switch 3000 password - need help

We inherited a 3Com SuperStack II Switch 3000 from our predecessor. I don't
know where he is and no one in our dept knows the console password.

Is there any way to get around this ?

Do we need to install the firmware ? How ?
