[NTISP] Point to Point

We use mostly Point to Point T-1's. We have been having problems with
errors and the lines locking up our DSU's for several months now. We
finally had our Attorney call the phone companies involved. One of the
phone companies is now saying that with Point to Point connections our
DSU's have to set to Master on one end and Slave on the other, and that
we keep the Clock Source set to Internal. This is in strong contrast to
a month ago, then they claimed the problem was that that our DSU's
clock source should be set to Network and that they controlled the
clocking.

So what gives? Does anyone know which way it is suppose to be with
Point to Point's?
