Do you have a RAID card in there?

If so - or possibly anyway - you may have to supply NT with specific
drivers - try the adaptec site for these - there is a special way of
installing the drivers during the pre-install section of NT Setup which
involves pressing things quickly.

I had this problem with a Raid card - it was me not pressing the right
keys quick enough.

What kind of SCSI adapter are you using? When you boot up your computer
from the installation disk, hit the F5 key when it starts to load the
drivers for installation. Then load your SCSI controller driver from
diskette. It will then recognize your drive.
