RE: [RadiusNT] IP addressing - CVX and Nortel CPM

That's my feeling as well, but our port provider using multiple Nortel CVX
1800s wants to spread dialup access across multiple boxes using the Nortel
CPM (policy management) which apparently does not support pool management.

As a result to accommodate points of failure (i.e. one CVX out of service or
off the ATM network) we would have to allocate pools in each cvx to
accommodate maximum potential usage i.e. 1280 x 4 / per CVX1800 - Huge
address wastage.

Any thoughts or comments

Thanks

No. Pool management is better suited for the NAS itself, rather than
by a RADIUS server.
