Dave is there anyway I can make radius nt also support authenticating people in this manner

Makes sense to check IP address first. FWIW, the monitoring system doesn't
make an actual request. It only checks for the UDP port to be open and
responsive. The re-ordering the validity check caused an error we've never
seen before. By simply adding a servername and IP address to the servers
table, we are able to test again.
