We are experiencing problems with our radiusNT server (2.5.124) running on
NT 4 Terminal Server with Citrix Metaframe where the server just seems to
lock up and stop authenticating requests.
We are running radiusnt as a service, and when this happens you cannot stop
the radiusnt service through either the services control panel applet or the
net stop radiusnt command. You can't even kill the radius.exe through task
manager.
We use text clients / users databases.
We can with a bit of fiddling get another copy of radius.exe running so that
it appears twice in the task manager processes list, but the only way of
getting rid of the dead service is to reboot the server which is undesirable
to say the least.
Has anyone any suggestions about this?
