Thanks for your response, Dale. A member of our team had been discussing
this with IEA support also. Peter responded yesterday with a 'VerifyMailUser'
stored proc update. We tried it and mail authentication performace has
increased dramatically! I think you were leading us to that 'VerifyMailUser'
stored proc in some of your earlier responses, but with us being very new
to SQL, we just didn't know how to apply it.

Anyway, we are very pleased that we don't have to throw any money at
this problem now. Many thanks to you and IEA support for your
assistance!
