Re: [Emerald] Slow Auth in NTMail

We tried the new Emerauth.dll and ODBC logging was turned off. We're still
having the same problem. We did notice, however, that one of the machines
locally is having no problems logging on at all. Auth and checking takes no
time at all (it checks and is gone before you know it)....We know there has
to be something somewhere causing this lag. We have one user who is
checking their mail through a proxy server. They have 3 e-mail accounts. 2
were moved to Emerald and started getting the "can't connect to POP server"
msg, while the 3rd, left in NTMail, has absolutely no problems at all. We
would like to get this resolved somehow, so if anyone has any suggestions on
how they've fixed it, let us know. (We think this "time out" may be part of
the problem we ran into with duplicate usernames. (The PPP and POP being the
same, and the PPP only able to log on sometimes...a past msg).

Thanks
