Subject: [Emerald] DBCC CheckDB problem

Hi!

I wrote last week about a problem I'm having backing up our Emerald database
with Seagate BackupExec 7.0 (w/ SQL module).

I'm getting this error:
-----------SNIP----------------------------------------
There was a problem running the DBCC.
SQL Server returned the following error message:

Allocation Discrepancy: Page is allocated but not linked; check the
following pages and ids: allocation pg#=16640 extent id=16688
logical pg#=16694 object id on extent=1545056540 (object name = Calls) indid
on extent=0
-----------END SNIP---------------------------------

Dale's response was:
>These are the results from a "DBCC CheckDB" that it does before
>hand. I would run a checkdb again and see if it still had this
>problem.

***MY QUESTION IS: how does one run a checkdb?***

We run Emerald 2.1.8 and SQL 6.5

Thanks,
Adam
