I have a problem with Radius NT. I am not sure if this has been
mentioned on the mailing list yet, I am still going through them. I have
a server running Radius and it has been happily authenticating users
until yesterday afternoon. Radius is now no longer running, and I cannot
start the service. When I try to start the service I get the following
error message:
Could not start the Radius NT sevice on \\COMPUTERNAME
Error 2186: The function is not responding to the control function
This is also after two re-boots, and now the server starts up with an
error, because it cannot start Radius. The reason given in the event
viewer
for Radius not starting up was:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely
fashion.
The server is running Windows NT 4.0 server with service pack 3
installed on an Intel platform. And the Radius NT version is 2.2.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
