I really don't see the max having much to do with this, since
radlogin doesn't work either. I'd check the users to make sure their
passwords didn't expire on NT.
The domain is blank because you are not specifiying one. This isn't
a big deal, since it will try to authenticate in both the local
computer (if its not a DC) and the domain. To specify a specific
domain, change the password entry from "WINNT" to "WINNT\DOMAIN"
where DOMAIN is your NT domain.
