Yes. Check items are supported in ODBC mode.
Speed-Check is a rather un-thoughtful idea someone came up
with that would be a nightmare to support. Can you imagine
the calls coming into support because someone has a 56k
modem, didn't pay for a 56k account, and can't authenticate
because they are connecting at 44,000? Plus, there is
nothing to stop the modems from retraining higher if a 33.6
connection is made to start.
