Here's what works for me...
In network configuration on the Win95 box:
1. Make sure the Win95 is configured for NetBEUI. (you can have the other
protocols also)
2. Make sure the workgroup field on the Identification Tab is set to your NT
domain.
3. On the Access Control tab, make sure you have checked User-level Access
Control, and have specified the NT Domain correctly.
4. In the Client for Microsoft Networks Properties, make sure the NT Domain
is specified correctly.
5. In File and Print Sharing properties, make sure Browse Master is
disabled (default is "automatic", change it to disabled). You may also want
to try enabling LM Announce, although that tends to slow down both boot and
shutdown on the Win95 system.
5. Make sure the Win95 system has at least one shared resource.
