Before I get flamed for this one, this is what I generally tell my customers
when they complain about Win95/IE40/Outlook Express, or any other new
application slowing their machine down.

I suppose if those applications written 2 years ago that ran well on your
486 did everything you ever wanted to do your 486 would still be just fine.
If you want to use the new applications and features, then get a machine
that's capable of running them, otherwise, stick with the applications you
were using that will run on your machine.
