My mistake, I was under the impression that with
T1/PRI card available for the Isporte I would be bypassing
the analog NAS and then connecting directly to my ethernet.

The reason the PRI capability is not important
to me is the fact that the modems are not hybrid like those of the
4048. So ISDN service would not be available only 56k and
below.

I checked into it further and it does require an analog NAS like the PM.
Not a problem, as we have a Computone PowerRack we had planned
to retire with the digital upgrade. It would be inconvenient to
keep all the extra cables from the Isporte to the PowerRack in
place but if I could setup additional 56k access for less money I would
certainly live with it.

I thought the differences in the Isporte and the 4048 only
consisted of the lack of an integrated router and the non-hybrid
modem. This precludes the performance differences that
I was asking for feedback on in my original posting. Thanks
