I previously posted this message but didn't get any response from anyone, so
I'm not sure if it made it out or not:
I have a small problem, last week I wanted to add an extra IP address to my
NT 4.0 SP3 server and I received the following error when attempting to
access the properties in the Control Panel Network applet:
"Error 2 loading registry information"
By removing and adding TCP/IP, I was able to correct this problem, but after
taking that route, I then kept receiving a WINSOCK error from IIS 3.0. I
could not correct this problem even with re-installign IIS 2.0 and ASP, so I
went back to Friday's backup. So I'm no worse off, but I still have my
registry information error. Does anyoen have any ideas on how to easily
resolve this problem without affecting other installed programs.
BTW, Merry Xmas
