The MetaInfo product is nothing more than a BIND port for NT with a nice
Java interface to the db files. What kind of traffic were you seeing
when the performance started to degrade?

Hello
We used Metainfo DNS for sometime, but we have to
drop them, because they weren't capable of handling a
heavy load.

I will advise you to buy the "DNS and Bind" from ORA
and use the Bind version of NT.
(I am too a Unix illiterate, it is not too dificult to
install
a Bind server)

Regards.
