A made a registry option for Emerald 2.2 to output the new format when
Greg was wiritng emparse. We were using the old format and it would
have broken the old translator. Maybe Greg remembers what the registry
entry to write the new style is? Emerald 2.5 only writes the new style,
so the entry isn't there anymore. It seems like it was ESMode and 1 told
it to write the new style.
