You may have been using a SQL Server ODBC driver and not
an Access driver.

The problem is Microsoft has made significant changed to ODBC for
versions 2.5, 3.0, and the broken 3.5 versions. Since the steps
vary so much depending on the version, its difficult for us to make
any specific steps.
