Purging historical data

Dear list,

We have built simple reports for RadiusNT for
users daily, monthly and yearly usage. We are
currently only needing the monthly reports and
are keeping hard copies of this data.

The problem is that after only 3 1/2 months the
report generation time and system resources has
reached a point where everything grinds to a
halt.

We want to be able to purge the historical data
from the system which is over 2 months old. We
developed a query that would do this, but by now
it cannot run because there is already to much
data to handle before MSAccess stops working and
RadiusNT (the only other program running) becomes
nearly static. Our Radius Server is a Pentium Pro
with 32MB Ram.

Does anyone have any experience and or solutions
for this kind of problem.

Thanks in Advance for your help and support.

Best Regards,

J.M. Foster
