I've had mixed results with the same MB's. It is my understanding that the
memory address space is not available to the cache forcing it to the
address space directly in place of the cache. The memory IS available for
use. When you boot the machine the Award BIOS screen will tell you what is
installed. If it goes to NT, then boot from a floppy to see the screen.
There should be an additional DIP socket on the MB. There are a few
revisions to this MB so take a look at the physical board. Some have 256K
and some 512K cache.

I already have the two 32 MB EDO RAM in place. I am planning to add two 16
MB EDO RAM.
What is this cache all about ? All I know of is the L2 cache.
How do I find out if I have a TAG SRAM ? How do I know how big it is ? How
big do I need to cache above 64 MB ?
