One trick in MacTCP that might help is to duplicate the first dns entry,
and put a period in the blank as the name, with the same ip number for
its number. Why this helps is another story, but try this and see.
Example:

ns1.turkeybird.com 201.199.199.1 (default)
.. 201.199.199.1
ns2.turkeybird.com 201.199.199.2
ns3.turkeybird.com 201.199.199.3

We'll have a complete MacTCP and TCP/IP tips and tricks page on our 'Omni
Mac for ISPs' site soon. <http://www.trag.com/omni>
