Modems not resetting under RAS

I'm having a problem with our courier modems using RAS. They function
fine, but when a remote user disconnects, RAS does not reset the port, but
shows them as still connected. Is there a registry setting I need to
change? Any ideas would be appreciated. We only have two attached to this
NT4 server for our personal access.
