Need help on this. Radius still crashes randomly. I went over entire setup,
added a DEFAULT user to users file was only thing I found that I had not
done initially. Added the DEFAULT user and radius will run for longer
periods of time, but it still crashes. It looks like when a bad or improper
password is used that is when it fails. Looking at the debug output usually
the last thing printed is a reject for bad password situation. Also, the
logfile that radius creates gets very large very fast. When examined, you
see multiple listings for the same accounting records.
I can count 5 or more "start" records and 5 or more "stop" records for each
login session.
Our NAS is not even pointing to this machine for accounting.
Two questions on this:
1. Is radius more stable if run with Access or SQL?
2. Why do I see so many accounting records for each session? Can I turn off
radius accounting and only do authentication for now?
Any help is appreciated.
