No, please, don't get the wrong idea. It doesn't require that huge machine
for 6000 users connecting to a DB, that is for pushing a DB. However, if
the switch you now have is setup correctly, your network speed will
increase. I do have somewhat of a question about your router acting as the
bridge for your two LANs...what model/make/manufacturer and how exactly do
you have it set to route the packets (i.e. what does your table look like)?
Is it cached as so many routers are, or is it a static - manual update?
