No. The ServerPorts table if for online/concurrency control which is not
available
in text mode.

Do you mean it sends an Auth ack? You may need to put more information
in
the test account. For example the ascend requires several attributes.
Try using this test entry:

test Password = "test"
User-Service = Framed-User,
Framed-Porotocol = PPP,
Fraemd-Address = 255.255.255.255
