Hello, if anyone could help with a problem I woudl appreciate it. I'm
really starting to hate this Dr. Watson guy with a passion.

we are running:

- Microsoft Windows NT 4.00.1381

- radius: RADIUS version 1.16.60 2/7/97
NOSHADOW BINARY_FILTERS ASCEND_SECRET WindowsNT ODBC

- two Ascend MAX 4000's, both secret's set up to be identical
(I did not think they had to be unique, if so, please let me know).
Ascend MAX Software versions are 4.6Cp9.

The infamous Dr. Watson strikes when I set the MAX's acct as Radius,
and put in the secrets. If I start Radius with -x15 -o -A and then
log in I get:

0) Mode: 1
1) EncryptPasswords: 1
2) IgnoreCase: 1
3) AuthPort: 1645
4) ReqAcctAuth: 1
5) AcctPort: 1646
6) Options: 18
7) Debug: 0
8) ODBCDatasource: Radius
9) DataDirectory: ..
10) AcctDirectory: ..\acct
11) UsersFile: Users
12) Username:
13) Password:

And this is where Dr. Watson strikes. If I run radius with -x15 -o, I
get:

Radius NT is ready to receive requests!
radrecv: Request from host cf7b9e6f code=4, id=69, length=81

ODBC: SQLExecDirect Error:

requested to the t
able were not successful because they would create duplicate values in
the index , primary key,

Response Time: 6375

And Dr. Watson strikes again, sometimes after more of the above,
sometimes immediately.

If Radius is run as a service, Dr. Watson rears his ugly head
everytime within seconds.

I have populated the ServerPorts table in Access v.7 with ID 5 or 6,
and Server Ports 20101..20123, and 10101..10123 for each ID.

I *thought* these were the correct values, but this could be my
problem as well. I was not entirely sure. NAS with ID # 5 has one
PRI with 24 lines, the ID # 6 one has two PRI's, a total of 48 lines.

I've tried to give as much information about the problem as possible,
sorry for the long message. If any more information would help,
please let me know. I'm at a loss. The only way I can get Radius to
Authenticate without crashing is to run it in a DOS Prompt (not a
service) and use -x15 -o. I also have to disable Acct in both Ascend
boxes.

Thanks in advance for any help.
