Seriously look at setting up some linux boxes with Squid
running on them. It is messier to setup but scalability is
no problem. The software is FREE and plenty of expertise
exists to get them setup properly.

We have found it is better to build multiple smaller boxes
than one large unit. You have redundancy and quicker response
as well as lower hardware costs.

If you have access to peering connection with other ISP's
you can also share your proxy caches to increase speed
and decrease use of your incoming feeds.

Squid performs (on suitable hardware) pretty damn well
compared to proprietary solutions.

Just about everybody does this in Australia as the
cost of the incoming connection is so much higher than
the States.

I use NT for everything else.
