[NTISP] MS DNS server cache not updating

Hi-
I am having a problem with Microsoft DNS Server on NT 4.0 SP5:
After a few hours, my primary nameserver stops resolving *.com domains which are
not already in the cache. It continues to update *.net domains fine. My
secondary NT nameserver is working fine.

I have to stop and restart the MS DNS Server service, which resets the Cache, to
resolve the problem. I have checked the cache.dns file in \Winnt\System32\DNS,
and it is OK. I even replaced it with a new named.root file from the Internic,
but the problem persists.

Has anyone seen this? Any recommendations?
