your organization. Our curriculum is developed in conjunction with the
engineers who develop IEA Software products, ensuring that you get the most
accurate and comprehensive training. Our training program helps customers
turn today's concerns regarding billing, customer care and RADIUS user
authentication into a competitive advantage solution.
This is a comprehensive program for anyone who uses, or is considering using
the Emerald Internet Management Suite. Emerald includes a RADIUS server for
either Windows NT or Unix. Students will learn concepts and terminology
regarding billing and RADIUS Authentication, Authorization and Accounting
along with hands-on experience implementing and using Emerald and
RadiusNT/X. Billing personnel, customer care representatives, system
integrators and other professionals will benefit. Individuals taking this
course should have work experience with Windows. Windows NT, Microsoft SQL
Server, Crystal Reports Professional and Microsoft certification is
suggested for those maintaining applications and reports.
Emerald overview, installation, the Emerald Administrator, configuration,
client/users file, Master Billing Records (MBRs), services, billing
(theory, scenarios, aging, invoicing, autobatch, credit cards), customer
care, reports, Rad Log, TS Graph, external systems (email, FTP, news),
EmerAuth and more.
RadiusNT and RadiusX overview, RADIUS protocol, installation, the RadiusNT/X
Administrator, configuration, ODBC DSN, cache, Authentication, Accounting,
SNMP, syslog, proxy, roaming and more.
Students are welcome to bring their own laptop computer for the training

Training must be paid in advance.
Class tuition is refundable up to 5 business days before training, less than

In order to cancel your enrollment and receive a refund, notification must
be received five or more business days prior to the first day of
your original program start date. You will then receive a refund, less a
$100 administrative fee. Please contact IEA Software at (831) 459-9430 or
(509) 444-BILL (2455) if you need to cancel or have any questions. Scheduled
classes may be cancelled if minimum class size is not met.
