[RadiusNT] Problem sending accounting packets to Livingston 2.1 radius server

One of my customers uses Livingston Radius 2.1 and is getting "invalid request
authenticator" for accounting packets.
Authentication works fine - only the accounting packets. (yes, the shared
secrets are the same)
I have seen this problem mentioned on other lists but have not seen a solution
posted. Some of the replies suggest that it's a problem with this version of
Livingston and VSA's.
Has anyone else encountered this and more important does anyone have a fix?
I know it's not a RadiusNT problem, but thought someone out there may have some
useful info that would help.
