While I was at ISPCon in Orlando last week, a couple of the guys with 3Com
said I should be using the HiperARC to send authentication requests to
RADIUS (which I do), and use the NMC to send accounting information to
RADIUS (which I'd never thought of). They say it is much faster and provides
much more descriptive information.
Is anyone else doing this? What are the ramifications of implementing this
method system-wide?
Would I have to set the NMC's address in RADIUS as a server?
