We have been using CISCO 5300 & 3640 for quite some time now and I am
perfectly satisfied with them, especially the 5300 which is performing very
well and never gave us any trouble at all.
We are using 5300s in around 12 locations, all using radius from the
begining, without experiencing any problems or incompatibilities and
expecting a couple of 5800s for our main locations.
Support is of high standards (should we ever need to use it) and performance
is outstanding both in 56K and ISDN connections.

I left 3COM out because of all the post on various radius list concerning
port number problems and other problems related to Radius and lack of
Technical support from 3COM....

I also have read several reports that when the 3COM chassis is under full
load that it drops in throughput as much as 30% according to the packet
side... Both the Ascend and Cisco units dropped only about 2%. The PM4 that
has been discontinued dropped as much 44%!!!

Thanks....

Ronnie
