Ronnie : I don't know why did you left 3Com out of this, but I've probed all
of those you mention and I Definitely sit the 3Com equipment over the top of
all. In all the areas that you are considering.
If you want something more technical, please contact me or be a little more
specific.

Best Regards.

Subject: [NTISP] NAS

Please.. no flames for posting this to all 3 list... I just want to reach
the largest audience possible.

I DO NOT want responses from Sales agents, dealers, distributors!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to get a response from anyone with the following NASes or
anyone that has had experience with them. I would like to know your Good,
Bad, and Ugly!!!

I presently have have one POP with 18 PRIs and several others with 3-5 PRIs

My choices in the order that I have been thinking are:

Cisco 5300 - for the smaller POPs

Cisco 5800 - for the larger POP

MAX TNT - either POP

Basic areas or info needed are:

Ease of initial setup.

Ease of troubleshooting.

Ease of management.

Ease of setup with Radius authentication.

SNMP experiences.

Upgrade experiences.

Percentage of client connect failures.

Client modem problems with NAS.

Thanks,

Ronnie Franklin
