[RadiusNT] Problems with Radius 206!

I'm running this thing in debug mode, -x15, and it's sitting there looking
dumb.

I've spent the lat two hours checking, and rechecking the postmaster
configuration at the remote end, because the user I have set up can't get
logged in. Why was I wasting my time at the remote end? Because debug mode
was telling me NOTHING, so I figured for some reason my remote wasn't trying
to talk to Radius.

By chance, I opened the radius logs... what a very different story in there,
from what my debug screen's telling me...

I have a USER file with only one user in it (called test)

Here is the output, from the file LOGFILE

Thu Dec 02 19:31:38 1999: Calc_digest: from ip.of.portmaster, ID 10 :
Request from Unknown Client
Thu Dec 02 19:31:38 1999: Authenticate: from ip.of.portmaster - Security
Breach: test

Thu Dec 02 19:31:38 1999: ODBC Error:23000:2627:
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Violation of PRIMARY KEY
constraint 'pk_RadLogs'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'RadLogs'.

Thu Dec 02 19:31:41 1999: Calc_digest: from ip.of.portmaster, ID 10 :
Request from Unknown Client
Thu Dec 02 19:31:41 1999: Authenticate: from ip.of.portmaster - Security
Breach: test

However, I can log in using radlogin no problem.

So what's the big deal here? Why can't my user authenticate through the
portmaster???

(Yes, I DO have ip.of.portmaster in my clients file, and yes, the passwords
match). In fact, when I reboot the portmaster I get this on the debug
screen...

radrecv: Request from host c4292bc1 code=4, id=1, length=54
Acct-Session-Id = "00000000"
NAS-Identifier = ip.of.portmaster
Acct-Status-Type = Stop
Acct-Session-Time = 0
Acct-Delay-Time = 0
Sending Accounting Ack of id 1 to c4292bc1 (PM1)
Resp Time: 10 Auth: 0/1 -> 0 Acct: 0/0/0 -> 1

And how come it doesn't show up in the debug session???

Regards

Bob
